GORJUS PICTURES is the film production company of Brian Barnhart, a filmmaker devoted to the classic spirit of independent cinema — in the tradition of Cassavetes, Harmony Korine, and early Scorsese. In addition to narrative work, he’s also crafted a number of documentaries on the culture of underground music.

Brian is currently developing his first feature, titled “Bring Me Flowers” — a crime drama best described as a cross between “The Killing of a Chinese Bookie”, “The 400 Blows” & “Taxi Driver”.
SYNOPSIS
Faced with a bleak future, a young man with a history of incarceration decides to leave his small prairie town to search for his estranged father in Montreal. Though a fragile bond forms at first, the son’s hopes of a better life gradually diminish, as the fathers true nature comes to light.
